i am cleaning my room for relatives to come.

actually, i am cleaning my room, the bathrooms, the rec room and vacuuming both staircases.

they could be here as soon as 12 o'clock (only like 90 minutes away) all i have done is the upstairs bathroom, and not even totally because i have to get the rugs into the dryer and then on the floor :lol

in my room, i can close the closet, but i put a rubber band on the door handles since i just shoved everything from my room into it. and now i am loading up my storage containers from college with stuff and hiding them under beds in the house.

its more of a surface clean since i am running out of time... do ever just make things LOOK clean when they really arent??

Usually the only room I have to do that to is my bedroom. It is like the catch-all of everything! It drives me crazy! :nutts

my mom keeps calling to see how much i've done. im just thankful she has not requested picture messages to SEE my progress.

becuase i've just told her "my room is about done, all but the floors" implying possibly that i just need to sweep and mop my floors. when i really mean, i have moved everything from the surfaces ONTO hte floors in order to sort it.

:lol good luck getting everything done in time. I do a lot of surface cleaning lol... but usually when I decide to clean I clean everything or it will just bug me. When I'm in the mood I know I better do it all cuz who knows when I will actually "want" to clean again lol. :giggle
