First off, thank you all for your sweet comments on the thread Cat started, that made me smile so much!!!!!
It's amazing how fast our first year of being married went!!!! It's like one day we were saying our vows and now poof it's a year later! :) I remember my in-laws saying before we got married that the first year of the marriage is the hardest, but for us it really wasn't. But they also mentioned that was true back in the day before some couples would live together first, etc. since ususally when they got married that is when they lived together for the first time.
We dated 6 1/2 years before getting married and I honestly feel it was the perfect amount of time. We had a lot of ups and downs happen during the time frame, some events that almost broke us apart but in the end made us stronger as a couple and I'm actually relieved it all happened before we were married since I'm not sure we could have survived if that makes any sense?
But enough rambling, hehe.
We went to Butter Cream Bakery in Napa today to pick up the cake I ordered. They did our wedding cake and it tasted sooooo good and was beautiful. But we didn't get to have that much of it, just a few bites at the wedding and maybe 1/2 a piece when we got back from Maui a week later. So we are really looking forward to cutting into it today! I took a photo of it, they made it so pretty:) Even the girl behind the counter was like, "this is so beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!" awwww!

My co-worker Sara, who I swear is like a 2nd mother and views me as her kid, gave me $50 last week and told me to go somewhere nice with Paul to eat:) awwww, I just love her, she makes my job bareable and she's amazing.
So we went to Houlihan's and pigged out on some yummy food! Then walked around and did some shopping. Before that, Paul had a test for a potential job that I am crossing my fingers he gets. Its at the Valero refinery a few minutes from us in Vallejo and he made it from the initial 850 people that applied down to the 200 people that got called back in for the 2nd test. Yay!!!! So while he was testing this morning I made him a bunch of peanut butter and chocolate cookies:)

He got me a really nice leather Nike bag that I so needed to tote my soccer gear and anatomy stuff on Thursdays when I have soccer and I love it! :)

Anyways, that was my day so far, and it's been just so lovely!!! :)
