Thanksgiving~ Paul was suppose to have Jerron for Thanksgiving this year, but he took so much leave in the summer when Jer was there, and his wife is due to have a baby the end of December that he can't take anymore leave. So, he let me have a "bonus" holiday this year, which was really nice of him.
Josh will have to work of course, but he gets off around 2pm (unless he gets screwed) I am sure we will split up the afternoon/night between my parents and his parents. Not sure which we will eat with.

Christmas~ Well, it falls on a Tuesday which is Josh's normal days off... Tues and Wed or just Tues. But, since he put in for the 26th-29th off he may not get Christmas off too. If he doesn't, Jer and I will get up Christmas morning and walk up to my parents (we live in their yard lol) and do Christmas with them. When Josh gets home we will have our Christmas. I guess we will eat lunch with my parents and then go see his parents and spend some time there.
Then, the day after Christmas we are leaving for ORLANDO!!!!!! :cp
We will be gone the 26th-29th. It's not a super long vacation since Josh doesnt' get paid days off, but its going to be so much fun! It is our 1st family trip! We are leaving early Wed morning and will get to Orlando mid afternoon. Then do something fun there Wed night... I love the things they have other than just the parks... Wonder Works is awesome! Then Thursday get up early (shouldn't be an issue with Jer lol) and go to SeaWorld and then Friday get up and go to Magic Kingdom. Sat we will check out our hotel and go bum around Downtown Disney and then head back home that afternoon. OOooo I can't wait!!!!!!!!! :woohoo

Thanksgiving is going to be here in SD with my brother and Chrissy!

Still unsure about Christmas. I know my brother and I are staying here, but not sure if our parents are heading down or not. So, it might end up being just us and the pup!

Nothing yet. Will can't take any more leave between now & the end of the year because he has to save it up for the big Wedding. So we're playing it by ear, see what time he gets off, if any..If he has the time off, we'll be going to the desert for T-Giving & X-Mas, if he doesnt have any time off, it's just him and I!

Thanksgiving is one of those up the air things for us. Whoever calls first is where we go. I mean we live literally within blocks of both sets of family. Dh gets a week off for Thanksgiving, all paid! :D

The day before Christmas Eve (the 23rd) we have our Christmas with dh's family.

Christmas Eve, we go back to my hometown and go to the Candle light Christmas service with my grandparents. I always sing a special for it. This year my brother and sisters and I are all going to do it!

We drive back late that night, then we do the santa stuff with the kids Christmas morning, then head to my dads that afternoon for lunch and presents. Then after that, we get my step kids for a little while.

Dh gets 2 wks off for Christmas...all paid! :D

For the thursday-Sunday during Thanksgiving I'll be in San Diego visiting my cousin, aka jen113007, who I miss big time. I'm so excited to go!!

For Christmas, christmas eve I'll be with my in-laws, then on christmas day I'll be up with my siblings. We are cooking a big dinner to have together, so it should all be really nice.

I think we are going to have a very quiet Thanksgiving (DH is working overnights) because we are leaving for Vegas the day after!
I don't think any family will be visiting this year for any holiday.

Oh goodness, this thread just made me realize that I have no time to do some shopping! LOL. I think we are making the 2 hour drive to home for thanksgiving and christmas. But we're doing our own little family xmas here too. We are poor and broke so Cam will be getting a few presents and I am borrowing from my mom to get allen something and that will be that. Even though we won't have a lot, we'll have each other and I'm excited for our first big holidays w/ the bambino!

well...

Thanksgiving- I'll be cooking with my mom all day. DB and my family will be over for dinner. We'll have a HUUUUUUGE meal, and it will be wonderful...lol

Christmas- DB will be deployed :tears so it will be just family stuff.

New Years- my WHOLE family comes in from all over the US, so that's always a blast!

For both Thanksgiving and Christmas, I will probably spend it with my friend Grace and her family.
