got any favs?


I don't know if I really have any favs up here. I like Emily's Pancake House, but I won't miss it too terribly when we move because I like IHOP just as much :lol

In Jacksonville, I had a couple favs. Clark's Fish Camp was AWESOME. I loved Dick's Wings (omg, cajun ranch buffalo wings :sadeyes ). I also loved Johnny Carino's, which I didn't think was "local" but I guess it probably is since most people have not heard of it.

From Tennessee, I'd say Cock of the Walk (country cookin with fried chicken, fried pickles, big pots of veggies served in big pots!) and also Po' Folks. Damn, I am so hungry right now :jk

back home there was a mexican/american place called Sandy's II I loved!! then of course back home we had the candelight inn(very good but very pricey), um..a GREAT pizza place called angelos :hungry Damn now I'm hungry and homesick :lol

Can you guys define where "home" and "here" is? :D

Here in this area, we have a WONDERFUL mexican place called "Sal's" & it is DEEEELISH!!!

The only real local place I go to is L&L, oh and Big Kahuna's Pizza and Subs. Yum!

Hmm ok not sure about here but back home on Maui I loved Da Kitchen, Marcos and San Seis. :drool Oh I miss them. :(

There are a few mom and pop local places I absolutely love around here, mainly they deal with catfish and hushpuppies :D

local restaurants, i LOOOOVE the Narrows, Fisherman's Inn and Harris' .. and they are all amazing and right by each other. harris' has the best soup, fisherman's the best seafood cakes and the narrows has the best dessert!!

Up here I love Max & Irma's, the Rain Forest, The Triangle, and (thanks to Kristi :lol ) The Silo.

In FL. it is Sweet Tomatoes, Sticky Fingers, and St. John's Seafood and Steaks.

In Maryland (this is kinda pathetic but....) I love IHOP. The one in Pax was the best one I have ever been at. It may not be as good now but when we were there it was really good. Maybe that was because I was preggo with Breanna though. :teehee

In Ohio it is the Barn, and was Curly's (he retired so now that is gone :( ).

I will miss our local Chinese place here but not On the Border. After what happened last time and then the slap in the face yesterday, they can rot in hell.
I do miss a good Chik Fil A...could go for a wrap right now and a good Sonic. We move up here and there is nada

My favorites are Chipotle, Carrabbas and there's a Cuban restaurant called Don Ramon's here, which is one of my favorites, but they've gotten stingy and jacked their prices up so I am no longer a patron, amigo :no

A restaurant called Yahooz. MMMMM, sooooooooooo good.

My faves in my area are:

Chart House (in Cardiff)

Famous Daves BBQ (In Vista)

Kings Fish House (In Carlsbad) LOVE the calamari.

Black Angus

Ciao (in Vista)

Buca Di Beppo

Casa Linda (In Vista)

Fidels (In Solana Beach and in Carlsbad)

Ok, well I have to say Applebee's because hubby works there! LOL I also LOVE Carlos O'Kelly's and Olive Garden!

We like going to Hanford Cantina. It's a cozy mexican place. I like their Cokes too.

I love the restaurant Charlies here. It is so yummy!

When I go home to NH/MA/ME, my favorites are Moe's subs (Portsmouth or Salisbury) and Bob's Clamhut (Kittery). :drool

home (where i live when i'm not at school) they have an italian restaurant that is to DIE for!!!! :drool

and up here near school, there is a pizza place that is AMAZING!

El Azteca, it's a little Mexican restaurant that I love!

we don't go out to eat very often. The only places near us though that we do like are:

Outback steakhouse
Fuddruckers
Red Lobster
Olive Garden
Roadhouse Grill

San Diego:
Andres Patio (Cuban/Puerto Rican food)
Soup Plantation
Elephant Bar (only been once, but has yummy tofu dishes)

There are some more, can't think of right now

I loooove Blue Moon, and Country House isn't too bad either....but no one else has these near them!

We love to go to Don and Donna's, it's a hole in wall little place but the best food ever. I loooovvveeee there breakfast. And it the only place in town you can still smoke in. LOL!!!

I love TGIFridays and a local pizzeria/restaurant called Big Ten.

I love The Fried Pie (OMG, their pies are soooo freakin good! :drool)

Amigos (Mom and Pop Mexican place here in town)

China Dragon (Chineese buffet but its like real chineese food made by Chineese people)

As far as chains go, I like Dairy Queen, Arbys, Red Lobster, Olive Garden and Texas Roadhouse

I didn't like any of the local restaurants that I went to in Washington or Utah. Here in Arizona there is a mexican restaurant called Macayos that I loooooove though. YUM. I also love a little hole in the wall mexican place called La Palma. Mmmmmmmmmmmm
