What the ayatch-double-hockeysticks!?

Airtran stopped flying direct between Boston and Philly!!! Those bastards! :vent

Now it's going to cost me upwards of $200 to fly down there. It's a freaking 60 minute flight. They still fly to Philly, just not from Boston. I'm so mad! Now I'm stuck on Delta or US Airways or United, which have the worst possible prices on earth. What the heck is up with the cheap airlines giving me the shaft?

It's actually cheaper now for me to take Amtrak. Yeah, $100+ per seat Amtrak. Or rent a car with full insurance for 4 days.

I'd rent the car for 4 days, just because you can drive there, do whatever you want without depending on anyone and return it back. (If we can drive, we drive, because these days with all the waiting in line at the airport to check-in, waiting in line to get through security, then waiting to board the airplane, then waiting for your bags in baggage claim, if it's only a 60 min. flight . . . I'd drive. You'll probably get there faster. LOL!)

Sorry about them dropping that flight leg, Sweetie!!

I actually took an overnight train one night while I was in Spain, and it was actually an awesome experience, and I sort of prefer it to flying now. I got a bed and got on the train at around like 9 pm, then it arrived at my destination at like 8 am. It was really comfy and a smooth ride, and not as stressful as flying!

That stinks!!! If it were me, I'd rent the car.
