Finished this book a little over a week ago and I just loved it! Reminded me of some of his earlier books. The main female character rescues golden labs and has a secret past that is revealed later on in the book and is truly horrifying. There is also a plot that revolves around her boyfriend and a daughter he's never known.

Very good read.

Was this his newest one that's only out in hardcover? I hate when they do that. :(

Ya, just out in hardcover so far:( I requested the book from the library a few months ago so I got it just a few weeks after it came out. Sucks how books come out usually on hardcover first and then take forever to come out in paperback.
