Jaxon is almost 4 (in march) and Shelby will be 2 in July. I still allow them to bathe together because they have a BLAST in there :lol It makes me sad to think I'll have to make them start bathing separately soon but I know as they get older, they'll need their own privacy.
At what age do you think opposite sex children should stop taking baths together? What about children that are the same sex?
Same sex?
I don't know whenever they felt they wanted their own space... 5 or 6?
Same sex?? Probably before school age... like 5

If it's same sex maybe 6 or 7. I remember having mud wars in my back yard with a girlfriend when I was 7 and I would shower with her afterwards and it was no biggie.
Opposite sex I would say around 5.

:agree I used to take baths/showers with my girl cousins until we were about 7. I only have one boy cousin so after the age of 5 he always had to take a bath by himself.

My kids stop when my son was 6 and my daughter was 3. My daughter still takes baths with her 1 friend that we have know since she was a baby so they are more like cousins.

My kids are having problems with this right now. They have so much fun bathing together but Cory is 7 1/2 and Lily just turned 4. They were begining to take notice of each others differences. not in a bad way but I decided its time for Cory to have some privacy when bathing or dressing. Its something I kinda have to enforce since they see nothing wrong with be naked together. Its a touchy situation

Well, my brother and I are a year apart and we stopped when we were about 6. Quinn is 8 and Jacob is only 2, but I make Quinn bathe with Jacob b/c Jacob pretty much won't go in the tub unless Quinn is in there to play with him. Quinn would rather take a shower, but he's a good sport about it. I won't let it go on much longer though (if only for Quinn's sake).

Ok I guess I am the odd one but for me when they start getting interested in the opposite sex then it would be time to stop. Hell my mom has a big jacuzzi tub and my sister and I sat in there with my brother who was 14... sure we had our underwear on and it wasnt a big deal. My brother is 15 now and if I need a towel or something I just call and ask him to bring me one. We are siblings and that's how we see each other nothing gross. :shrug We are more shy now about it and wouldnt take like showers naked together or anything. I do remember when my lil bro started liking girls my mom said that we had to be careful what we walked around in lol. I dunno to each their own but I feel that when they are the ones that get shy around their siblings then stop. :dunno
Also for siblings of the same sex I would say just let them stop when they dont want to anymore. I can still take showers with my sisters if I need to no big deal we are all girls and I dont see the problem with it. I took showers with my friend and a bunch of other girls when we were at spring camp in highschool. It was all open so didnt have much choice and we were all girls nothing we havent seen before. :giggle

I would say when either one of them really 'notice' the difference between them.....
