Do you get along with your SO's mom and dad? Brothers? Sisters?

Db's mom and I are like best friends..we email at least once a day to eachother and call eachother to just talk :giggle His step-dad is cool but don't talk to him much unless it's about Db's divorce since his mom and stepdad both when through divorces. His Brother and sister love me and I love them too they are soo much fun :yahoo I got lucky...:woohoo His dad on the other hand barely knows about me nor do I care he was a jerk to db through his childhood and he barely talks to his dad :dunno

that is so cool, you are close with them.

I am still sort of settling in to db's family. His mother absolutely loves me which is awesome, she's a great lady. A little kooky but I love that about her. His dad is less talkative but Allen holds him in the highest of regards so as little as I know about him, I know he is a great father. Which makes me love him.

We haven't met each others parents yet. :shock Yeah, I know. But his family lives on the other side of the country and they aren't super close, or at least, he's not in contact with them a whole ton...and everyone already knows that I won't introduce a man to my parents until there is a ring on my finger (or he's asking to put one there). One of these days though...

We're going up to my hometown in a couple of months, so maybe...maybe I'll introduce him to my mom. My dad, um, no matter how perfect and wonderful a guy is, I'm scared he'll still disapprove - so he gets no meeting until it's ferever.

I like my DH's mom shes really nice, his youngest brother is cute though he can be a pain... the middle brother is so annoying lol I know he is at that age but it's still a pain hehe. His dad acts nice to be sure but I HATE him he's such an ignorant asshole. We argue sometimes which upsets my DH sometimes he just wants me to let his dads stupid comments go which I do a lot. Sometimes though I just cant help it cuz he's such an asshole lol. :giggle

Don't know yet - we're not meeting each other's family until the wedding day! :shock
