My Baby Is "JUST ABOUT" Potty Trained!!! :yahoo
Over the past weekend it just "clicked" :)
He has had just 1 accident all weekend and that is cause he couldn't get to the potty fast enough. I am sooo proud I can't even describe it. We bought him boxer briefs and he calls them his "man undies" cause they look like Dad's. :teehee
But the best part of all is... HE WENT #2 IN THE POTTY ALL BY HIMSELF WITHOUT US TELLING HIM!! :wow :yahoo
He did it Sunday at my parents house and then again yesterday afternoon at home. Josh and I were sitting on the couch and we hear the toilet keep flushing and I call out to him asking what he's doing... I thought he was playing. Well about 30 secs later he comes out bare butt and said.. "Hey Guys, where's the wipes? I can't find the anywhere?" :lol And I go in the bathroom not even wanting to know what Im going to find. But low and behold he was dry and hadn't went in his undies at all... he had went in the potty! OMG I was so excited and he was so happy! :D
Tomorrow is Day 1 of going to school in his undies. About 3 other kids in his room are just about potty trained and wearing undies so his teacher told me today to send Jer in them. He is just too cute about it too!
So, if he keeps up his good work, we are going on a "date" Saturday to ToysRUs to buy "Lady" one of the trains off Thomas that he has been wanting. And then to the mall for pizza :)
I know we may still have a few more accidents and night time will be a challege for a bit because that's just normal, but WOW I think he finally is doing it!! :yahoo
