ok ladies, i was just thinking that when we get settled into the house, i will have some fundrasers to help with the costs of the adoption as well as other thing. So could you ladies help me with some ideas?

I'd say a yard sale, but since you have none of your belongings... :sadeyes

The problem I've found with most fundraisers, as I've been considering it in order to participate in a cancer walk/run, is that you need starter money to begin with. Like if you tried to have a party at a bar or something, you need to downpayment to rent the bar and for drinks. If you sell some product, you need the intitial money to buy the product then sell at a higher price. It was all very daunting to me. So really, I'm of no use...but I thought I'd try to at least contribute anyway.

you could alway ask places to be a sponsor..

tell them if its like a restaurant, you will eat there x amount of time and bring in your friends to up their sales, or something....

as far a a fund raiser, i have no idea. are you a apart of an adoption forum? there might be ideas out there.

i tried the whole cafe mom adoption forum but wasn't to happy with the attitudes there so no i am not.
