I have a Dr's appt! Its more of a consultation for Rob to get to know the Dr and ask any questions he is concerned about. And also, the Dr wants to test Rob's Chromosomes. But I am nervous as hell...I have no idea what to ask and every time I sit down to write down the questions, I forget everything. One thing we are wanting to know if he can put us on Clomid. I know there is a lot of risk but before Rob left, it took a year and a half to get pregnant and 2 m/c's. And we are wanting a baby so bad....we waited for 13.5 mons.

So, can anyone help calm my nervous and suggest anything?

I'd definitely ask about the Clomid....
Do you know why you have trouble concieving/carrying? (sorry if you've explained before)
I'd also talk about your cycle, when you ovulate or think you do, any suggestions the doc may have...

Sorry my mind has went blank as well, it keeps wanting to ask PCOS questions since thats usually what my appts deal with.

Good luck!!

Yes, I am going to ask about Clomid. But in the past he said no b.c of the risk. But we are at the point where we want to get pregnant and have a healthy baby. We have wasted so many months and with him being gone on top of it.

I have trouble carrying. I have a blood clot disorder which caused my 2nd m/c. And we feel we it takes a long time for us to conceive.

I don't have PCOS. So far everything for me has come back normal. We just need to get DH tested!

I'm in the same boat! all my tests have come back normal, we've been trying for 3 years now! The only thing I haven't been tested for is Endometriosis, have you been tested?

When they test DH it's a great idea to do a Semen Analysis, and make sure they don't just check his count and mobility, have them do the whole thing! The first time DH was tested they just looked at his count and the general mobility, since then we've been to a new doc. and she tested the whole works and we found out he's got quite a few abnormal ones (we even know what they look like!) and he has low penetration, and a bunch of other things that we can fix on our own with a change of diet and lots of vitamins and minerals, if we'd found this out at his first appt. over a year ago we could be preggo by now! I've been on Clomid three times now, my first doc put me on 50mg for 3 months then 100mg for another 3 months, days 5-9 both times, it didn't work so we went to a new doc. She made us wait 6 months since the last round and then put me on 100mg again, days 3-7 with Insemination, I'm on my second month with it.

No matter what they say there is a difference in what days they put you on it! My new doc says it's just a matter of preference but when I was on it days 5-9 it lengthened my cycle to 32 days instead of 28, my bleed days were up to 7 and I ovulated on about day 16. Now with Clomid on days 3-7 my cycle is 27 days, my bleed days are about 3 or 4 and I ovulate on day 14!

Good luck! I hope some of this info. may have helped!
