Kaecee's second conferences are tonight...we had the first back in November. The first time she wasn't worried at all but today she just told me she was nervous and worried she will get into trouble...which makes me nervous...like what has she been doing in school that she thinks she will be in trouble for? But at the same point the first time around we knew she was getting into trouble because she was bringing a naughty note home about every other week! (sometimes more some of you will remember) But now, she hasn't had a note home since October...so I hope it's just that some kid on the playground told her some horror stories or something. In any case wish me luck!

How did the conference go?

I used to (L) conferences for some reason. :lol (suck up....ok not).

It was good. She only had really one negative to say and that's that Kaecee still hasn't caught on to the fact that she needs to raise her hand instead of blurting out the answers. It wouldn't have even bothered me either except the teach said "Kaecee is the ONLY one who still can't remember to raise her hand" Like my kid is just slow or something...kinda pissed me off. But other than that she has learned all the stuff she didn't know last time as far as what they need to know before "graduating" to first grade. They are supposed to be able to count to 50 by now....the sheet only goes to 50 but the teacher said Kaecee counted to 100 for her just because! LOL But yah, overall she is doing really well! Thanks for asking!

LOL I'm not so much worried about it...I was just irritated at the way the teacher told me about it. She just made it sound like it was this horrible thing that ONLY Kaecee did, ya know?
