Well most of you know that I am from Maine but not sure if a lot of you know that Dh is from Kansas!
Well we had decided we were going to probably move to Kansas when he got out of the Navy. Well I was all for it because I was born and raised in Maine and had never lived anywhere else until I met my husband and we moved to VA due to him being in the Navy! So I am not ready to go back there even though my family is there. I got to spread my wings and I am not ready to fly back sort of speak.
Well one time we have leave and go back to Maine, because we alternate between ME and KS. Well my dh then decides that he wants to move back to Maine. So here i am had my hopes up and was ready which in some cases the woman doesnt want to move to the dh's home state but I was willing. He kept telling me we would be closer to my family(which dont get me wrong i love my family dearly and want to be close to them but at the same point I want to live out of the state of Maine). I keep telling him that there are more jobs for me out in Kansas and they have plenty of jobs for him out there too! But he didnt really listen to me.
That has been the story of my life where nobody listens to me in my family and come to find out I am right half the time. It really pisses me off, i tell him that it's a marriage and we both have to agree. I moved to Maine because we needed to get out of our place in VA cause the lease was up and he was leaving for a 5 month deployment. Plus that is where he wants to live.
Now he is having a problem finding jobs in the Law Enforcement field and the process is long we cant have no income for a little bit. We have to many bills for that to happen. So we are at the unkown place and I hate it! I hate not knowing what is going to happen.
I cant find any decent jobs in Maine and we both have to have decent jobs to make ends meet. It's hard to find jobs that match what he was making in the military!
I dont know what my point was to this thread, but i just needed to get it off of my chest and maybe I am looking for some advice.
