I finally have court a week from Thursday. I doubt he will be there since he is still stationed in Italy and probably hasn't even gotten the letter in the mail yet. I haven't talked to him much (he doesnt even call to talk to the kids :sadeyes) so I am not going to call him up and tell him about it. Although I am soooo ready for it to FINALLY be done (I moved back he December 2006) and I have someone now that would never hurt me like he did, it still hurts a little to know that it is truly the end of the biggest chapter of my life.

Thanks ladies. Yeah the think about him not calling for the kids ever really upsets me, espesically since he talks himself up like he is such a great dad all the time, yet he doesn't even make an effort. They only talk to him when they go to their other grandma's, if she can even get ahold of him then. So MAYBE once a week they talk to him for 5 minutes or so. I am sure he didn't even think about sending them anything for easter.
Oh I forgot to add he did happen to call today since it was my birthday. This was the whole conversation. It was about a 30 second conversation where he said happy birthday to me then asked how the kids were doing. I said that they were good and he said ok well I just wanted to tell you happy birthday so I am gonna hed to bed now. WHY if he was going to call didn't he make time to call earlier and actually talk to THEM!!
