Jennifer 03-19-2008, 04:06 AM Can we have pillowtalk not show up on new posts, just like the boxing ring? I know we have it that way over on SOS and I truly prefer it. Some of the topics in there I would prefer not to see listed on my screen when people are around, especailly.
I agree. I poked around the admin area to see if I'd be able to do that, but I really have no more capabilities than a hostess so :shrug I couldn't do it. Definitely a Brandi thing.
Shannon 03-19-2008, 08:18 AM I think that sounds like a good idea. :yes
Jennifer 03-19-2008, 08:52 AM thanks Lux for trying. I hope Brandi sees this and can change it. Glad I am not alone in my wanting it!
Yeah, I don't really go in there at all. If there was ever any "trouble" someone would have to send me a PM about it 'cause I'd never see it.
SDRenee 03-19-2008, 10:51 AM I agree :yes
Icis_930 03-19-2008, 12:04 PM dang, i never thought about that, good idea
Daydreamer 03-19-2008, 12:23 PM I definitely think the Pillow Talk polls should not show up on the home page...especially for guests viewing the page who may want to sign up for the first time or anyone under 18 who may be checking out the website. :eek
I am not bothered by it showing up in the regular forums, but I think it is a good idea if some people are bothered or offended by it. :yes

As far as I know, it's a private forum. :confuzzle It shouldn't be showing up on the main page for anyone except registered members. I can remove it from the new posts button, as well :)

Some of the polls show up for me on the home page when I first log in. Maybe it is just because I am registered though? I am usually always logged in so I dont usually view the page without being logged in. It really doesnt bother me either way though.
I walk alone 03-23-2008, 02:17 PM I agree :thanks
What Jennifer means isn't the home page. It's when we hit New Posts and the titles of the threads show up in the New Posts for those of us with more than 250 posts. Sometimes there will be a big batch of "oral" and "lingerie" and stuff on there :teehee I have to share my computer with my mom and Richy and my back is to the living room so anyone walking around can see what I'm looking at really.
Sophia 03-23-2008, 04:47 PM i agree

I don't have 250 posts yet but I've been able to read and reply to the Pillow Talk threads and they show up on the new posts page as well. I'm of age of course and I hope my replies have been helpful. I've even been thinking about posting a question I have in the Pillow Talk forum. I know that my bringing this to light will mean I probably won't be able to particpate in the forum until I reach my post count but, I just thought maybe I should let you know that whatever measure you have in place to keep out newbies isn't working.
ooooh I didn't know that! Thanks davey's_girl!
Jennifer 03-26-2008, 12:29 AM :bump I'm still seeing pillow talk posts...and it's a bit awkward for me when my husband comes over and asks "What the heck are you reading???"
Shannon 04-02-2008, 10:45 AM :bump Me too! They definitely aren't cutting it work.
Christina 04-02-2008, 10:50 AM Sounds like a good idea!
Jennifer 04-03-2008, 01:38 AM Yeah....please!
Brandi 04-03-2008, 08:30 AM I will get to it. In the meantime, you can just skip using the new posts button if you need to.
