How, when, and why did you decide it was time to start trying?

Db and I have babies on the brain and I am just wondering when everyone decided it was the right time to expand their families.

I don't have children but I think it's time whenever you have both decided that you're ready...cause if you wait until you are 'financially' ready then you'll never have kids...at least that's what Nick's mom is always tell me :teehee I would personally wait until I was married though.

I think that's what we're kind of hoping for. We aren't actively trying at the moment but if it happened we have talked about it and would be ok with it.

We had planned on waiting until we got here to South Carolina to concieve, but one morning I woke up and said to DH (verbatim)

"Honey?"
"Yes?"
"I'm tired of waiting."
**insert long contemplative pause** "Ok."

6 weeks later we had a bean ;)

We're working on it now. I just told him that I wanted a baby. And he said okay.
