There ya go! I finally got my positive on my ovulation test!:yahoo! I feel like I waited forever! Its CD16.... My question is, I started having cramps and lower back pain last night. Shouldn't I had a positive yesterday?

Another question? Someone just asked me if I got my positive OPK this morning and I do my IUI tomorrow....wouldn't that be to late for the IUI? I answered her no b/c OPK's give you the two best days to conceive. So when I get my positive OPK thats the first day and the second day I do the IUI which is the day before O? Am I right?

I'm not sure the answer to your when to IUI question, but I wanted to say congrats on that positive OPK! :hugs I was VERY crampy on Clomid at ovulation time.
storybooker 03-25-2008, 05:22 PM You usually don't O until 24-36 hours after a positive LH Surge. The day after for an IUI is considered perfect cause you should be getting it done in the 24-36 hour period, also Sperm can live in your uterus for up to 3 days so with the IUI the day after a positive and then you do the baby dance a couple days in a row after the IUI you just might get lucky! Jennifer 03-26-2008, 12:20 AM You usually O 12-72 hrs after a positive OPK, most commonly in the 24-36 hr range. It all depends on how long you get a surge for. good luck!
