Questions.... Jen sent me a link awhile back, Ive been trying to find some info before I attempt to sign up. My home phone, which I only have because it was the only way to get DSL in the sticks. Does anyone have VONAGE that has their DSL through the phone company? Can you even get/use VONAGE without having to continue to pay the phone company for their *phone* service? I have to have phone service in order to get the DSL through them. Am I talking in circles here? :nutts

No you're not talking in circles. DSL service runs over the telephone line, so you would have to keep your dial tone in order to keep DSL. If Vonage offers DSL you could possibly switch, but I'm not sure. If not, you could still have Vonage service, but you would have to have them set you up with a new telephone number, because if you port your old number from your current company to Vonage, your current company will disconnect the line. IMO there wouldn't be much savings if you keep your dial tone, especially if you're currently in a package that discounts your DSL for services on your phone line.
Now am I talking in circles??
