Loved this book!! It took place a bit after his last one (Kill Me). The author is a psychotherapist that writes books on the side and his main character, Dr. Alan Gregory, is a psychotherapist and his wife is the assistant DA. In this one, Dr. Gregory was falling apart at the edges from the last book (where one of his patients was murdered after signing a contract that he would allow this company to kill him if he was diagnosed with a terminal disease so he wouldn’t have to suffer), and this one deals with an ex patient of his, who is a murderous nut, that escaped from the state psych ward and everything that happens afterwards, including this dude seriously screwing up Dr. Gregory’s life, his wife’s, etc. very good read if you are into crime thrillers.
