I know a few you are aware that we have been trying to TCC for over 2 years now:sadeyes I have randomly posted here and there but have not updated in a bit so here goes. After a million test and trying clomid for 4 months my Dr gave up and sent me to another specialist :inshock I was diagnosed with PCOS last week and started Metformin :sick next month on days 5-9 I will take clomid (100mg) and go in for a sonogram :neutral If the Dr thinks I am O we will attempt an IUI.

I am so frustrated but in the end it will all be worth it :stickyboy :preggo

I am not too sure what it all means. I've picked up a few things here and there. But IDK what the IUI is. But in any case, good luck & keep us posted!!

I'm sorry you were diagnosed with pcos. I can't believe your dr just gave up! that's kinda not very nice! Good luck with everything though! :hugs

Good luck! My Dr. did the same thing, he did a few tests on me and DH then gave me Clomid for 6 months upping the dose every three months. When that didn't work he told me he couldn't do anything else for us and referred me to a specialist. I've now had 2 IUI's and we're waiting to do a third one. It's frustrating, especially when you pay $300 to have it done and two weeks later you get a BFN and you have to do it all over again! AND the most frustrating part is DH and I have been put in the "unexplained Infertility" group! We have no idea what's wrong with us, according to all the tests I should have been preggo a by now. I hope things work out for you!

The same thing happened to us and we were are also in the :quote unexplained Infertility group :arg It is just so frustrating :gaah They are still not a 100% sure I have PCOS but my testosterone is a little high so they are hoping that is what it is.

Thanks girls I appreciate it more than you know :hugs It has been rough and now I think after all this we are going to have to put the TCC on hold :sadeyes

Mom called last night and she is definitely going to need open heart surgery soon :tears That means I will have to go down to FL for a few months…she has other issues as well so I don’t know exactly what they are going to treat first but DH and I talked about it last night and there is no way we can do all the appointments right now plus the stress would not be good for the baby. I have mixed feelings about it :dunnoWe have been trying so hard and it kills me to put it on hold but it is Mom and I need to be there for her right now :worried I am so worried about her so I guess we will take it one day at a time and see what happens.
