I'd do it if a friend went with me. So we could talk about the guys later and have a good laugh. I'd be fascinated to see who actually showed up at something like that. But I don't think it'll be happening any time soon. :D

I don't think I would ever do it. I'm pretty shy at first and wouldn't get to open up at all due to the time restraints

I know that there is going to be a speed dating thing this year at CONvergence. I go to the convention every year, so I know some of the people there are... not datable.

But I'm considering going just out of curiosity.

One of my friends who has been single for quite some time now has tried it recently just because she thought it was a funny idea. But she really found to be a good experience which was absolutely not what she expected. Right at the first speed dating session she met a guy that she really liked and met a couple of times.
I would try it out if I were single again - probably together with a friend!

But the men there were a bit too old for me..
You can choose the age and I take 25-30 but there were also 35-year old men..

Next time I will do it at another bar...

But all in all it´s fun .. You meet so many new people and this is very funny ..
