In yoga a few weeks ago our teacher brought in some articles about health lifestyles which included eating well along with exercise. One of the suggestions in the article was to switch regular potatoes with sweet potatoes since there are more nutrients in them then regular potatoes.
Oh dear god!!!!! So freaking yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't really follow a recipe when I make my mashed potatoes, I just usually use about 3-5 depending on their side, add in either non fat plain yogurt or sour cream, a little bit of butter, and some freshly ground black pepper.
These were so freaking good I thought I had an orgasm in my mouth!!!!!
Paul just loved them!!! He closed his eyes and went "mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm"
haha:)

So, sweet potatoes boiled and mashed, then you add in some sour cream, butter and pepper? Sounds good. I wonder if I could cut the fat by skipping the butter and using fat free sour cream? I wonder if my kids would eat them. :lol
I love sweet potatoes!! DH doesn't like them but I love sweet potatoes with a little cinnamon and butter :drool

I LOVE sweet potatoes. I generally don't add anything. I also usually slice and roast them. It's even healthier!!

You're too healthy :lol I can't eat most veggies without SOMETHING on them, whether it's some sort of sauce, gravy, seasoning, etc. I just do not like the taste of a plan vegetable. Even though I think potatoes are actually a starch, not a veggie? :lmao I do love sweet potatoes though, I normally add a lot of butter (baaaaad :sadeyes ) and cinnamon with sometimes brown sugar or vanilla. Yeah, WAY bad, I never eat them b/c I feel too guilty afterwards. Its almost like a dessert. I wonder if my new "Promise" butter would work though b/c it's got the zero fat and cals. :confuzzle

Yup, they don't need butter at all! When I use the fat free plain yogurt it gives it enough flavor that you don't need butter:)

True, but to get my husband to eat them I HAVE to add some sort of flavor since it isn't much of a plain veggie fan.
