Most of you who are also a member on our sister site probably already know about the Secret Garden forum but for those that don't...

On our sister site, we have a forum called The Secret Garden that is a private forum open to members who have at least 1,500 posts. The forum was created b/c most of our other forums are viewable by guests, and they really wanted a more secure place to talk about really personal issues that they didn't feel comfortable posting for public view.

So far, it's gotten a lot of use and seems pretty popular. So, I was wondering if you all would like something like that on here, as well?

There are rules for the forum such as absolutely NO talking about members who don't have access to the forum, not even in passing. It's not a place to vent or gripe about issues with other members and posts like that aren't allowed, so it doesn't turn all "cliquey". Its just a more private place to share things with other members who you feel more comfortable with.

A lot of the issues that have been talked about are family/friend issues and things of that nature, but it eases members' minds b/c they don't have to worry as much about a family member or friend somehow stumbling across the site and seeing it.

So, would you like a forum like this where 1,500 or so posts are required to gain access? Same rules would apply about not being able to talk about other board members and such. I thought it might give our active members an added perk of being active on here. So, what do you think?

i'm cool with it. because TWH isn't as big as SOS it doesn't seem like a HUGE deal at this point, but it's definitely not a bad idea, especially as the site grows.

We have members who have been here since the beginning and still don't have a quarter of what you have. :lol I probably won't add it right now, but I was thinking sometime in the next few weeks after I finish up with all of our other features and issues wrapped up.
