How do you normally make your potato salad? What types of potatoes and ingredients? Do you smash your potatoes up some or do you leave them in small cubes? Do you like it room temp or cold?
I have started using red potatoes instead of the regular idaho potatoes b/c I've found that I like the texture and taste of them better than the white potatoes.
I am not a huge fan of onions, especially if they are crunchy and not cooked, so I don't add onion to mine (And usually people thank me for that :lol ).
If I have time, I like to cut up hard boiled eggs and add that in.
REAL MAYO ( a lot of it :lol ), about 1/6 amount of mustard to mayo, salt, pepper, chopped up dill pickles (I use either the spears or chips), then stir and done!
I prefer mine at room temp b/c I think it tastes better and I like the consistency of the potatoes more if they aren't freezing cold, but I'll eat it either way. :D
