Let's talk about our favorite laundry detergents!

Which one do you usually buy?
Which brand and scent is your favorite?
Do you buy your favorite or do you buy what is on sale?

We've switched around so much because it seems like someone is always allergic to something. I'm allergic to Gain of any kind, Jason and Jaxon are allergic to most Tide, I can't use anything with fabric softener in it.

But I finally found one that I LOVE and that really works well and no one has any problems with! The All 3 x's concentrated Small and Mighty in the original scent (blue bottle) http://all-laundry.com/products.asp

It smells great and no one is allergic to it. Plus, I LOVE the smaller container.

I'm currently finishing a bottle of 2x Ultra Tide Simple Pleasures, Vanilla & Lavender scented, but it's almost gone....

Once that's gone, we have a bottle of 2x Ultra All, Secret Garden scented. I love the first one but it's so expensive, I said screw it and got something half the price.

I'm still debating as to whether it's cheaper to use powder or liquid.... I can't tell.

Plain ol Tide

that is the only detergent that does not break me out or make me itch.

arm and hammer free, cause I am allergic to scent and stuff, and it seems to get my clothes really clean!

Whatever, haha.

No allergies in my family (knock on wood), so I've gone through some Tide with Febreze, Gain (I LOVE their scents) and just recently I bought a 2x bottle of Era 'cause it was on sale. I'm not picky, just a bargain shopper.

We always get Gain, the original scent. We have to buy HE (High Effeciency I believe) detergents because we have a front loading washer so we don't get a big variety to choose from.

I've been using Purex for years. Not only is it super cheap compared to Tide and other detergents, but it works just as well and they have a variety of scents that smell great, and it doesn't make my sensitive skin break out in hives :)

I currently use Gain...I used to be a whatever's cheapest kinda gal (as long as no floral scents as I am allergic) but when hubby bought me a bottle of Apple Mango Tango I got hooked. I now use Gain Apple Mango Tango detergent, and liquid and sheet fabric softener! (I'm weird I use both liquid and the dryer sheets)

I love gain original... its the only thing I buy. I love the smell and it lasts on the clothes for a long time. I love the smell of clean laundry..:). I even use a little bit of the gain in my carpet machine... works great and makes my floor smell good longer.

DH and I can use anything but I grew up using Tide cuz my dad and bro.'s are allergic to anything else. I LOVE Tide, everything else I've tried just hasn't compared in my house. I use the powder cuz it is cheaper when you consider amount of loads per container not price of the container. As far a softener, I don't use liquid (can't afford it) I use dryer sheets and I'll use whatever is cheap. Sometimes I get lucky when mom buys something new and dad is allergic! She gives it to me, she can only buy the expensive stuff. I use clorox bleach for my whites. I haven't found a cheaper brand of bleach that works as good. And for the really soiled clothes from DH I add Dawn Dish soap.

I use Wisk HE bleach-alternative.

I used the HE because we have an he frontloader that needs the low-bubble soap. And the bleach-alternative because I was having a lot of problems with OxyClean having bleach-like results that destroyed my clothes. And Wisk because my mom used to buy laundry detergent for me in a college and that's what she got. I stuck with.
