HA HA not very long. We "met" while he was deployed, and talked all that time, then met up when he got back. He hates the long distance thing. :(

what a bag of douche. i hate when guys break up and then want to get back together. i went through that... i finally ended it. i couldn't be a puppet anymore.
buuuut, i hope that things go the way you want them to go!

It's definitely not fair to be playing you like that. I know that a lot of girls on SOS would always say that they and their DH broke up, reunited and are happier than ever... But I just don't see that as the norm.

An ex wanted to give it another shot with me this last week, and I said okay. Things did seem different. However, when a friend of mine heard that his exact advice was "All I can say is be careful. There usually are reasons for breaking up that actually constitute differences. Couples tend to get back together, it works for a while and then the same differences arise."

It actually turned out to be the case. With 96 hours, he was pulling the same old shit and I just walked away. I wasn't going to get suckered into it again. Luckily, I hadn't gotten attached, was skeptical going in, so it wasn't emotionally upsetting the way I serious breakup is. But I was very proud of myself to have the courage and self-worth to say, "No, that's unacceptable behavior. I deserve to be treated better, and you just blew your only second chance, buddy. Clearly what broke us up the first time hasn't changed and likely won't because you have issues."
