My parents gave it to me early because I was with my Dad and best buy and he wanted me to make sure it was what I wanted.
I got a Nikon D40 and an extra lens :yahoo :cp :woot
I took a ton of pics already today :lol

D40... I dont need to blow my pics up large, so the deal I got on the d40 was awesome for me!
We looked at the D60 bc it can take my dad's regular 35mm SLR lenses, but I did not want them to pay that much and the D40 was lighter and just felt right in my hands.

Really it was lighter? My bestie has the D40 and it doesn't feel any lighter than the D60 to me...anyway Nikon is the way to go regardless! We got the xs because we are doing photography professionally so the possibility of bigger pics is there...my MIL wants the Canon version of the D40 though...(I personally don't like Canon but to each their own) Can't wait to see some more pics from ya though! ;)
