:giggle So do you pay more attention to your appearance when you're single than when you're taken?

I find that I'm faaarrrr more careful about how I look when DB is around. When I was single, I thought of it more like I didn't have anyone special to impress, so I was far more relaxed in my appearance. Or like now, while he's deployed, I gained a bunch of weight. But when he's around I want to look good for him all the time - seeing him checkin' me out is a big motivator. So I -always- want to look hot.

I pretty much act the same either way. :P

Yeah I actually take the time to get my eyebrows waxed when Nick's coming home or I'm going up there :giggle

I'd say I generally act the same either way. On the first day of classes, when I go to church, or if I'm going out I"ll get a little more "cute"..lol. Like make up and what I wear and everything. BUt I think that would probably be the same with or without a guy...?

At the beginning of the relationship db never saw me withouth make up or with my hair not done..but the the more we were together(overnights, weekends) and the more serious we got the more I relaxed and just figured he loves me for me. He always tells me he loves me best in the morning when I haven't combed my hair, and when I have no make up on :lol :dunno Makes me smile he says he finds me so sexy just laying in bed with him looking like me :wub

when dave and i (ex hubby) first started seeing each other i made sure i looked to impress. the i got comfortable with him and didnt bother with how i looked (which made him feel like i wasnt interested) then he left for the Army and I started dressing nicer, makeup, etc. which in turn pissed him off. bc everytime he came home i didnt dress up for him. now i figure what the hell i'll just make sure i look good where ever i go and who knows maybe i'll meet some one worth while! :giggle lets see how far this idea gets me

I think I've probably "let myself go" recently - so much for my original post. I want to start doing the make-up thing and looking nicer. But our circumstances have changed now - in that we're in far more casual settings when we're together. Of course, I almost never wear make-up anyway. It does more harm than good most of the time. :dunno

I'm the same no single or not. I like to wear make-up when I go out into the world, but if it's just me and him at home I won't put any on. I have noticed that I workout a lot more when I'm single though. I tend to be a slacker when I'm in a relationship :giggle

im the same either way lol just as long as im comfortable.

i like to look sexy no matter what, that includes eyebrow plucking at all times and lookin good. however, some relationships take a toll on your body that make you wonder if they are right at all. so i'm a little more lax on myself right now and focusing on developing my relationships with other women and furthering my interests. if it's meant to be, he'll take me as i am. which is flippin sexy. no matter what.

i try to look nicer. i'll try to put on makeup or do my hair, but when it's 5 am it's not always my biggest priority
