I looked it up and read about bad experiences, but that was mostly for hotels and rental cars. Is it ok to fly through them? I am just worried about the layover time since my baby is only going to be a year and a half. It's scary.

I jus booked through Priceline and have a flight with one layover starting in Austin, TX and ending in Portland, OR. For the round trip it was $273 and all the flight times are at a decent hour except when I land in Austin at midnight on the way home.
I'm taking my son who is almost a year old and Im just going to pack lots of little things to do and snacks and we will make the best of it! It will be fun!

Wow, that's a good price. I entered 300.00, but I'll try lower this time. Even 300 is lower than I've been getting everywhere else. Midnight would be great for me because I know he'll be tired. Ok, thank you!

I booked through priceline.com for my hotel when I went to Philly two weeks ago. It was awesome!!! I'm so thrilled that I'm always going to use them for hotels.
I bid on a price. I selected 4 Star Hotel, downtown, for $100. And I got the Hyatt Regency. Then Jenny was sick, so I couldn't stay with her. I didn't know this until literally like 10 minutes before check out. I was freaking, but called my mom and had her bid on a hotel, downtown 4-star for $100 for DAY OF. Hyatt accepted again. I went down, and they even let me stay in the same room. Whne I'd called down to extend my stay a night directly through the hotel, they said it would be $269 per night. So priceline saved my ass from sleeping on the street that night. Very cool. You get an instantaneous acceptence or decline. And I mean, the worst that happens if you bid too low is that they don't accept. Just go back, up it $10 and try again! :D
I only have great things to say about them. I wouldn't use them for airline tickets though because there are fees/taxes (which they do tell you about up front), but you have to be uberflexible on airline tickets time/day-wise.

I didn't even do the barter thing, I just searched for a ticket and liked the price. That was it. Never tried the hotel or car thing.

Priceline.com is a GR8 booking engine. Try booking thorugh Traverus next time. I'm booking my hotel and car through them next week. My family is going to get away for a couple of days to Vegas.
Prices have been good...and I've been able to get comments about the hotel before booking.
Take Care!
