1. DH is officially on leave now! :woot
2. We get to see Kenny Chesney on Thursday. Double :woot
3. We paid off two of our CCs this week with our tax money, AND we still have a good chunk of money in Savings. Triple :woot
4. We set up a good plan for the other two big CCs we have so they they're paid automatically each month, more then the minimum they ask for. He's done that with the Military Star Card all along, and it's helped a lot. So we're doing it with our big CC as well.
5. Come July 18th, we'll be getting $100.00 more a month because DH will be in for 2+ years then. And he's going to study for his E-5 test that he re-takes in September, and will pass. He missed it this time by only 5 points!!
All in all, it's been a good week thus far.. Monday Will and I had a GREAT day together, finally. And today hasn't been bad at all either. Our week is bound to just continue to get better.
I am proud that we have been doing so well with money despite me not working for almost a year now. Bills are always paid on time, sometimes early, including all CCs, and we still have money left over each pay check. We're able to buy things we want/need and go places we want and take a vacation because we've done so well with money management. And for being 19 and 20, I think we're doing a damn good job at this money/bills/adult nonsense. :giggle
