I just got my new piercing jewelry in the mail today! It's Bioplast so it's got a soft plastic back and bar and then the jewelry that plugs into it in the front it's a little cubic zirconia sparkle stud!
The awesome thing about this is I cut it to size so it totally fits my lip perfectly! No more super long bar catching on my teeth when I chew! AND because it's made of soft plastic, it doesn't click against my teeth and will largely reduce any damage that may occur over time!
Yay!!! It was a bitch to get in but it feels SOOOO much better than the overly long metal bar!!!

Was it soon enough to be changing the jewelry? I had to wait 6 months for most of my piercings.

He told me 6 weeks but the bar was catching on my teeth and gums and threatening to be pulled all the way through or tear, it was painful and made eating difficult... so I just sucked it up and did it. It wasn't as easy as I thought but it could have been a lot worse. It only took me about a minute to get in once I had to first one out!
Don't mind how worn out I look and my crap hairstyle (fresh out of the shower!)

Definitely, I clean it twice a day on the outside and rinse twice a day on the inside. It's definitely doing well!

Oh thats great I know the feeling of a piercing getting caught on your teeth when you talk or eat. IT HURTS!!
